We have adopted Marine Corps Military Transition Team 100 serving in Basra and a Marine artillery battery, (A 1/6, 24 MEU) currently serving in Afghanistan. 

We collect donations, do the shopping, assemble all the goodies and then participate as a parish in a "packing party" (Go to articles for recent news about recent Military Care Package packing parties). 

During these gatherings our Sunday schoolers color pictures to enclose in each package and parishioners get an opportunity to enclose a personal note of encouragement.  If you would like to participate in an upcoming packing party, sponsor a box (approx $40.00) or know of a service man or woman who might like to receive one - contact the church office.
